The Bryant Library
The Two Mrs Mackays
Hailing from dramatically different backgrounds, Katherine Duer and Anna
Case— the two ladies who would be known during their lifetime as Mrs.
Clarence Mackay— were dynamic women planted firmly in their respective
eras of turn-of-the-century New York society and the flourishing show
business world of the 1910-1920s.
Originally presented as a joint program with The Roslyn Landmark Society,
this lecture features narration from Carol Clarke & Ariel Morabito of the Bryant
Library Local History Collection.
